I've loaded Windows 7 after Vista became iresponsive. Everythings working ok except under the System information, the coprocessor is not installed ( yellow flag). Also 2 base drivers couldn't be installed.(yellow flags) I don't know what a coprocessor or base systems are.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Hi
This is difficult. Line 9 usually gives an SKU: value which tells us the model. Then we go to the support pages and find drivers, firmware and software to suit that SKU model.
A coprocessor is a second processor, that back in the days of 386's etc was a maths processor for numeric loads to ease the burden on the main CPU. Historical.
Now all is integrated and even multiple cores.
So without the make model and OS we are going nowhere.

Hi
Not good news.. Results for " Compaq Presario F700 Notebook PC System" (1)
It is over 10 years old and drivers etc are gonna be hard to find.
The only place I can suggest is....
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=windows%207
So you need to search for the exact thing you want.
Device Manager and exactly what is missing, take screenshots.
Paste into Paint and save as a .png and upload.

Sorry for the delay, but I had to teach myself how to take screenshots in png format. Just goes to show you're neve too old to learn.
Heres the 3 I took.
I've tried updating driver in Windows but the counter just goes on for ever.
I've looked at the link you gave me but can't see anything that relates to a coprocessor.
