Hello everyone,
I hope that you will be able to help me as I have tried everything I could find on internet so far.
Today, a customer brought in a laptop G62-A85EM and after I reinstalled Windows, I wanted to make sure all drivers are up to date and I went over a list on official HP update site and installed one by one.
Everything was fine until I updated the BIOS to Ver. F.48 which is the latest one on the list, after I restarted the laptop the screen was not working at all. Laptop boots normally as I hear the Windows sound and everything works perfectly okay when I connect it to external monitor using VGA/HDMI cable.
I read on a few posts that people resolved this issue by downgrading BIOS to previous ver. F.08, and that exact version was installed before I updated to F.48.
I did my best to try and find F.08 version online, but I didn't have any luck.
I tried all the recovery options, etc., but I didn't manage to get it to work again.
Would you be able to help me with this? Maybe a link to where I can download Ver. F.08
