Request for BIOS Image File – HP G62-b19SL Laptop

My HP G62 laptop has been functioning normally until this morning, when it failed to boot and displayed a black screen. There are no blinking LED error codes. I have carried out preliminary troubleshooting, and the remaining option appears to be a BIOS re-flash.

I have searched extensively, including on the official HP support website, but could not find a matching BIOS file for my exact model. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could provide a compatible BIOS image file.

Laptop Details (from label under the battery):

  • Model: G62-b19SL

  • Product Number: LF756EA#ABZ

BIOS Information (from a previously saved BIOS menu screenshot):

  • Processor: AMD

  • BIOS Version: F.23

  • BIOS Vendor: Insyde

Thank you in advance for any assistance or guidance.

All of the BIOS files are exe files and on those old notebooks you don't have an option to make a BIOS USB recovery drive.

FWIW, here is the link to the support page for your notebook:

The latest BIOS update is F.2B:
