I have another question do you know where I can locate the original HP G71 Drivers online...????

HP retired support for that model series since it's more than 10 years old.

There is a reputable 3rd party website called driverscollection com that should have the drivers you need for the G71.

For example:

One last thing is it possible I can upgrade HP G71 to Windows 10....??

Hi:

Yes, it is possible, but HP does not support that model series for W10 with any drivers.

You can upgrade to W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After the USB installation media has been created, do not boot from it.

Open the flash drive in 'My PC' and double click on the Setup application to begin the upgrade process to W10.

You have 10 days to easily go back to W7 if things don't work out well on W10 as long as you don't delete any of the upgrade files or the Windows.old folder.
