Hi all,

 

We rely on the HP Image Assistant software running regularly on our devices to stay up-to-date for everything related to drivers and firmware. As we are having more and more devices running HPIA, and since most devices are currently for work-from-home users, we want to configure our VPN solution using split-tunnelling in order for HPIA traffic to bypass the VPN tunnel.

 

Looking at the "HP Image Assistant.log" file generated when running HPIA in debug mode, I've been able to identify the following addresses where HPIA grab content:

  • ftp.hp.com
  • ftp.ext.hp.com
  • hpia.hpcloud.hp.com

Can you confirm that those are all the URLs accessed by HPIA? Am I missing some others that should add to our VPN-bypass config file?
