HP Inbuilt fingerprint scanner drivers

Hi there! I was experiencing some issues with Windows OS so had to reinstall it. It removed all preinstalled softwares which came with the laptop and it also removed fingerprint scanner drivers. I tried to reinstall the drivers but they are showing error "This is not supported by my OS". Anyone please help me with this

Hi:

Go to Windows update>advanced options>optional updates and see if the fingerprint scanner drivers are waiting to be installed.

Did you mean to write that there are no drivers in the optional updates section?

If so, this is the fingerprint sensor driver for W11 that is on your notebook's support page.

Is this the one that didn't work?

Hi Paul. The driver you linked worked. Thank you very much. I was downloading the drivers via the HP software which used to open whenever I download anything from HP Support. Probably that was causing issues. Thanks again for posting that link!
