HP laptops tend to have bad cooling here are some ways to help your laptop not over heat (:

 

1. buy some Thermal pads.

 

get some Thermal pads and put one on the m.2 drive if you have one. Put one on your ram sticks they tend to get hot.

 

2. Clean your laptop.

 

Open it up once every month or so and use some compressed air to blow any dirt out. Use some isopropyl alcohol and a Q tip to clean any dirt stuck on the board.
