Thank you for posting. I have read your post, and I understand that you want to download HP Linkup to your Windows 8 laptop. I am happy to assist you with that.

HP Linkup is a pre-installed APP comes with the Windows 7 system in some HP PCs. And it only supports for Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

Thanks. My question is specifically related to the "Viewer" application in Linkup. Am I correct in understanding that my windows 8 based notebook cannot get the "Viewer" application? I have alredy loaded the sender app and am able to access the notebook from my desktop. However, I was interested in accessing my desktop from my Notebook. Thanks again.

Thank you for replying quickly.

You are correct with that Windows 8 cannot get the "viewer" application. Therefore, you could not access your desktop from your notebook through this APP.

Thank you also for the prompt response. Of course, I am disappointed and now will have to resort to another solution like Teamviewer for my needs. I really like the Linkup app and have used it for my other computers for sometime. Thanks agai and best wishes.

Hi,

I have a HP Tower and a HP Laptop. The HP tower came with the Linkup Viewer, but the HP Laptop did not.

I would like to install the Linkup Viewer on the Laptop. How can I do that?
