Hello. Please upload a link to the proper HP M260 gaming mouse driver as there is currently none. Many other people out there are desperately searching for one as well.
Thank you so much in advance!

Hi @VadimN

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

The HP M260 Black Wired Mouse is designed with plug-and-play functionality, meaning it does not require a custom driver for basic functions. Simply plug it into your USB port, and your computer will automatically detect it as an "HID-compliant mouse" and install the necessary default drivers.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Without a driver it’s impossible to customize the buttons as well as an RGB light on this mouse. There is an application that has been uploaded many years ago and Im sure is an authentic HP application for this mouse (please find it following this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HxWzDUwdseQ3ybBhKp60xja97QeXKIPa/view) but these days this application doesn’t work without a driver and can not recognize the mouse as an HP M260 gaming mouse. Please upload a link for a driver or updated application that can be used with this mouse to customize the buttons and RGB lights. I’ve seen many other customers having this issue and desperately searching for a driver or an updated application as well. Thank you so much in advance!

I really don’t understand why are you advising me to use Omen Light Studio if HP M260 is not an Omen gaming mouse. Obviously this application doesn’t detect the mouse. I’ve tried to connect this M260 mouse to both Microsoft Surface Pro (running Windows 10, 64 bit) and also MacBook Pro with Windows 10, 64 bit running through Parallels. Both computers couldn’t find a driver to run HP application and customize RGB light or buttons of this mouse. Please be so kind to finally re-upload a driver or an updated application for M260 mouse for its owners to finally be able to customize it once again. Thank you so much in advance!
