Hi,

I have performed a clean installation of windows 10 pro and I have an issue.

Laptop came with windows 7 preinstalled and I was updated to windows 10 pro.

It was working perfect with out any issue. 

Now, after a clean installation of windows 10 pro, HP MEDIA SMART not working. I downloaded software and drivers and althought it seems installation is ok, software is not even open. I click on Mediasmart icon but nothing. In addition nothing happens by pressing the shortcut key on keyboard with HP MEDIA SMART  logo.

Tried uninstalling - reinstalling but nothing.

Any idea?

Hi,

I have finally figure out how to solve my issue. It seems clean installation for a reason didnt help...

I have proceed with system recovery using discs I have created in the past.

After win 7 were installed I proceed with update to win 10 instead of clean installation.

All preinstalled apps including HP MediaSmart are working!

It is a very old software I believe it won't run on Windows 10. Please check the following list first:

then try

I know is an old software but it was working fine on windows 10 a few days ago. Laptop updated to win 10 time ago.

Now, after clean installation issue came up.

Althgought is a software for win 7 it was working perfect on win 10.
