Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After installing the HP MIK I follow the steps for setting it up in SCCM and I get to step 4, which reads:

  • 4.1 Distributing HP Client Support Packages
After the installation is complete, HP Client Support Packages must be pushed out to the local distribution points.
    1. In Configuration Manager, select Software Library, select Overview, select Application Management, select
Packages, and then select HP Client Support Packages.

The problem is that I do not have HP Client Support Packages listed in my Packages folder.  I tried reinstalling and doing a repair but that did not help.  Did I forget to do something which is why I am not seeing this folder?

Hi@WYTechGuy, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps from the document:-

1. Check the last time the audio was working fine and perform a System Restore before that date

2. Check the volume.

3. Check with an  external Headphone, if it works then Goto Sound> Playback> check Show Disabled devices> Check if speakers are disabled

3. If external headphone does not work then try the following

4. Uninstall the drivers in Device Manager and install the Latest Drivers

5. Update BIOS, UAA Drivers, and Audio Drivers

Isolate OS related issues by swapping the HDD with a good known unit / Reinstall OS

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
