Omen 15 DC

Hello & greetings HP & Official Experts 🤝

i have an old Omen 15 DC-series from 2019 (2020?) the last of classic Black-Red w/ butterfly logo. im aware its no longer supported from HP albeit im very grateful & thankful‌‌ 🙏 of my unit's latest HP OEM updates in Q1-2 of 2023 receiving HP OEM Bios updates F26&27 via my unit's HP Drivers Download Page + HP OEM Nvidia Display Driver thru Windows CheckForUpdates

Eventually after scorching the inet as hard as a customer could for years post-purchasing the unit, today i hopelessly beg & ask to its HP Official Forum w/ strong faith for some help or mercy;

  • Would HP please give the last ever OEM Update of optional Vbios to increase my unit dGPU TGP/TDP?

So the case is, my particular unit cannot be helped by myself/user-end because despite the Custom vBios Flashing method exists, my dGpu codenamed TU106 (N18E-G1)* which is the earliest & old, relic version of literally named "rtx 2060 mobile", then superseded by the same literal "rtx 2060 mobile" BUT codenamed TU106 (N18E-G1-B)* -a Refreshed of 260m w/ max 115w NATIVE TGP (although each Manufs then intetionally delimit the TGP again to anywhere between 60-115w), all physical specs are identical to its predecessor but with a soft-limited higher Core Clock & lower Memory Clock to balance the increased wattage power draw -- mine do not have the luxury to be custom-flashed

Since that tiny difference of the (*), the wildly shared custom vbios for "260m" thats available online is only of the latter codenamed of TU106 (N18E-G1-B) which, for some vBios IDs problems, - couldnt be vbios force-flashed to the old Non-B ver. alas

Whereas,
from the very 1st HP 260m laptop per-April 2, 2020 (-B, Refreshed release date) until present, each has been using the refreshed -B version.

Regardless of Manufs still delimit the TGP to anywhere from 60-115w, the worldwide owners of the 260m -B ver. can swap force-flash their dGpu vbios to access the 115w max native limit w/ so much ease.
That same case even exponentially escalates on rampant w/ the HP laptops of rtx3000s; bcs the Odd version variant (-B & whatnot) is non-existent (nonetheless, 2nd hand Manufs still do delimit them again varying from 60, 80 - 115, 125, 150w) hence, a more uniformed vBios details. Thus, since the dawn of HP rtx3k laptops, conveniently, the owners have been informally breaching, accessing the respective dGpus native max TGP bcs the respective dGpus Codename variants carry identical vBios IDs -they can even cross-flash vbios between different Manufs laptop Brands such casually
*i am aware of HP gaming laptops are intentionally limited to 100w TGP dGpus by of unknown tradition, too

For the sake of additional information, shockingly/Unshockingly, the breaching of custom forced&cross-flash vBios is a more Normal occurrence in the competitor Brands environment, peculiarly Asus, Acer, MSi, Lenovo (most of the widespread extensive guides available online are of their units samples & communities)

Nevertheless, HP as its original OEM vBios maker can comfortably tweak its oldest relic 260m non-B laptop vBios to open the >100w TGP access as a last gift of charity 🙏❤️

  • Undeterred by my request&feedback posted in the wrong place, i wish this would be referred to HP's related divisions/departments

Closing,
i dont know whether itll help things to be more understanding or not, i live in the biggest country of SEA & ive mentioned of this thing before in my previous Complaint Thread. im an active Customers of the country's HP Authorized Service Centers perhaps renown too bcs i ask Or complaint a lot to them with bunch of Case IDs inscribed to my name&email via all its media (Whatsapp, email, visitation, HP service phone call thru SG as hub)
BUT, ive also been the keen independent HP advocate & promoter to the public via my own Forums & online Communities all credits to personally-gathered HPs indisputable evidences of being the better champion amongst laptop brands in my country in many aspects; HP ASCs services, policies transparency, conciseness, care, attention, professionalism, discipline, punctuality, perks&facilities, service system, patience, sensibility, healthy genuine products values, FAIRNESS & a just of a company in serving its customers. As a whole package, its hard to even lie that other competitor Brands here could triumph over just 2 of those values, beside them faking it through plain marketing & other facades.
