I want to charge my laptop over USB-C so i dont have to carry this charging brick around, but since my port doesn't support that i bought an USB-C to the 4.5mm adapter from Delock (https://www.delock.de/produkt/60004/merkmale.html).  The only problem is it doesn't work. I have a 140 3.1 PD power supply with a usb -c cable rated up to 200W and i get system utility error that it's not compatible. If i do diagnostics it says the power supply is to little and it can't communicate with the charger.

Now i have bought another adapter which actually keeps the charging symbol but the battery goes down quite fast and the light next to the charging port is black. In diagnostics i only get the error that it can't communicate with the charger.

I would like to know, is there an adapter from USB-C to HP's 4.5mm port that actually could work. Or is there another device/cable that could charge the laptop? I don't need it to be the 230W like the stock charger is but I would like to have a smaller charger that can also charge Smartphones and others if needed.

Thanks in advance

@Doodlemike

Its specs

           https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c08079183

It has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which does NOT support USB Power Delivery. You can NOT charge it using USB-C port.

Regards.

Yes i know that the USB-C port of the PC doesn't support Charging, that's why i got an adaptor that changes from USB-C to a HP 4.5x3 mm Jack which gives me problems as mentioned above
