For three days in a row, my HP Omen has prompted me that it needs a Windows update. Each day, I've let the system update and it's taken 2~3 hours to complete. Each time, the percentage takes a very long time to progress, then at some point, the system says "Something went wrong, we're undoing some changes" and then proceeds to load for another hour or so. This is extremely irritating and inconvenient as I am completely unable to use my computer for however many hours it takes. I cannot reset or turn off my computer without it saying I need a Windows update. Even today, I let it update for about 3 hours, then once my computer started moving slowly, I tried to restart it and it said the same thing. When I checked the system to see my update history, It said the last update was in 2023, which is obviously false. Not sure how to resolve this issue.
