Hello, my HP device is Victus Gaming Laptop 16-r1015nt (9J217EA) My keyboard light is only white but dim. I pressed FN + F4 on the keyboard and brought it to the maximum level in 3 stages, but the light is insufficient. Can your HP Omen devices' RGB Keyboard be connected to HP Victus? Is it compatible? If it is compatible, can I set the RGB keyboard to the color I want from the Omen App? Or if you tell me how to code or something else to increase this white light a little more, I would be very happy, I will recommend your brand to my friends and increase your sales. Thank you.

@CND3512WTP, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Your HP Victus Gaming Laptop 16-r1015nt (9J217EA) comes with a single-zone white backlit keyboard, meaning it does not support RGB lighting. Unfortunately, HP Omen RGB keyboards are not compatible with Victus laptops because the Victus series lacks the required firmware and software integration to control RGB lighting.
Alternative Solutions to Increase Backlight Brightness:
Check Power Settings:
Go to Settings > System > Power & battery > Power mode and set it to Best Performance. Some laptops reduce keyboard brightness on lower power modes.
Update BIOS & Drivers:
Ensure your BIOS and keyboard drivers are up to date.
Update via HP Support Assistant or manually from the HP website.
Third-Party Software (Limited Options):
Since the keyboard uses HP’s firmware, external software cannot control brightness beyond what the hardware allows. However, you may try any feasible 3rd party options.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
