Elitebook 2760P
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I wanted to use a custom boot logo on my HP Elitebook 2760P Tablet PC running Windows 10, and to do this I wanted to use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI. For some reason, the installer does not ask me to create a new partition, it just installs to somewhere and says that the installation was succesful. But it wasn't. I still do not have a HP_TOOLS partition.

What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Hello

for Elitebook 2760p,  which is quit old , you must use this utility:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58001-58500/sp58176.html

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58001-58500/sp58176.exe

here is the manual in PDF : http://www.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03394575.pdf

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics can't modify BIOS boot logo.

HP created even a powershell script to set the BIOS boot logo, but I guess it works with such an old BIOS. For sure it works with products introducted after January 2018. in case you have to do the same setting on newer products.

bye
