Hi, I have a PRO X2 notebook with a USB port, only. I also have a TV with USB and HDMI ports. What kind of cable(s) do I need to use the TV as a screen? Will a USB to USB cable work, or perhaps I need a USB to HDMI? Thanks

A USB-to-USB connection is not going to work as that is only for transferring data, not video.

There are USB-to-HDMI video converters that you can use to connect the USB port on your laptop to the HDMI port on the TV, but they don't always work and we would have no way of knowing if any particular adapter WOULD work.  You would have to buy it and try it to see.

Thanks, I appreciate your advice. I have asked others and they have said that I should use the C port, so the connector is C port to HDMI. Do you have any advice here?

The C port is used to charge the device, so if this is the solution I suppose I'll have to use it fully charged.

One person has suggested using a wireless HDMI solution. I have taken a brief look at these, and they seem fantastic. They are however expensive, so wouldn't be my first choice.

USB-C is a connector type, not a USB type -- and the ports come in two flavors, one of which is Charging ONLY.

I don't know what yours is, but if it is Charging ONLY, it's not going to work -- regardless what others claim.
