Hello,
I've had the HP Pavilion 15-bc500nv for a little over two years now.
I don't know when exactly this happened but my synaptics driver has been really problematic for quite a while now:
It's been slightly less responsive, palm detection doesn't always work, half the multi touch gestures are gone (for example it used to be that 4 fingers swiped would change desktop, doesn't do anything anymore) and other more basic functions like clicking the bottom right does *not* right click anymore and it opens up windows search for some reason(?)
Also when I open the settings for some reason it also shows up as a windows precision touchpad (even though it never did before and changing anything in the settings does nothing) and the synaptics settings don't open at all.
My product number doesn't come up with any software downloads so is there any way to recover the driver somehow?
Or an alternate download link?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
For some reason the product number didn't work but putting in my serial number in an incognito session seemed to work,
I'm gonna leave this post up in case someone has a similar issue
