Hello to everyone.
15 days ago I bought a hp pavilion x360 (i3 10th gen, win 10 home) and I noticed that battery drains when it is turned off (at about 6%-7% every 12 hours). I searched for a solution and tried almost everything.
- I disabled Connected Standby from registry
- I unchecked the energy saving box in Intel Management Engine Interface
- I disabled PCI Express from my power plan
- I disabled fast startup
and the problem remains.
I read in different topics that the solution may be an update called "Sphinx" but I could not find it.
I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a solution to my problem or to tell where can I find the "Sphinx" solution (if it is the appropriate solution to my problem).
Thank you in advance for your help.

I have a few steps listed below that should help you resolve this concern:
Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.
Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.
Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager:
1) In the search box, type and open “Device Manager”.
2) Expand “Batteries”.
3) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
4) Click on “Uninstall”.
5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver
6) Shutdown the computer.
7) Remove the battery for minute and then put it back in.
😎 When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.
9) Go to Device Manager.
10) Expand Batteries.
11) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"
Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.
Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
Also, please update the BIOS.

Dear @Praveen196,
Thank you for your answer and the fast response.
I tried everything you suggested but the problem remains. However, I tried to shut down my laptop via the power shell (cmd) using the command shutdown /s and it is ok. My battery did not drain while the laptop was off. So I suppose that Windows 10 don't completely shut down through the button in "Start" menu despite the fact that I turned off Fast Startup. I created a shortcut of this command on my desktop and I use this instead of the "Start" menu. So, please take into consideration my problem and provide us with an update to the related drivers or something similar to solve the problem in order to shut down my laptop through the classic way.
Kind regards,
George
