HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14m-dw0013dx
Microsoft Windows 11

No driver is available to download as it does not offer any options for windows 11 for this product - unsure where to go from here and HP makes it very difficult to contact them for any support whatsoever

@kierakel, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
We see that the touchpad not working issue on your HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-dw0013dx running Windows 11, especially when no driver appears to be available.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help resolve the issue,

Visit the Official HP Driver Page

HP may not list Windows 11 drivers explicitly, but Windows 10 drivers often work just as well.
Official HP® Support

  1. Scroll down to “Operating System”.
  2. If Windows 11 is not listed, select Windows 10 (64-bit).
  3. Look under “Driver - Keyboard, Mouse, and Input Devices”.
  4. Download and install the Synaptics or ELAN Touchpad Driver (whichever is listed).

Use HP Support Assistant

HP Support Assistant can automatically detect and install missing drivers.

  1. Download it from here: HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
  2. Install and run the tool.
  3. Let it scan your system and install any recommended updates.

Check Device Manager

  1. Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.
  2. Expand “Human Interface Devices” or “Mice and other pointing devices”.
  3. If the touchpad is listed but disabled, right-click and choose Enable.
  4. If it’s missing or has a yellow warning icon:
    • Right-click and choose Update driverSearch automatically.

BIOS Update (Optional but Recommended)

Sometimes a BIOS update can resolve hardware detection issues.

  1. On the HP Support Page, look under BIOS.
  2. Download and install the latest version available.

Windows Troubleshooter

  1. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  2. Run the Keyboard and Hardware and Devices troubleshooters.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
