I purchased the HP Pen because it says it's compatible to HP Pavilion computers.... Well, When I opened it and tried syncing it, it didn't sync. I can't even tell if its on. But, When I did some research I see that my computer system settings says
No Pen or Touch Input is available for this Display.
Which doesn't make sense to me since it has the Windows Ink already on my laptop and it is touchscreen and turns into a tablet. So can someone tell me if the pen is compatible?

Product introduced October 2016
Not every computer, even those with a touchscreen, supports an active stylus.
Windows Ink - that is, the category - is a "Windows" setting that shows up regardless of whether the computer supports an active stylus.
Unfortunately, I cannot find any reference that says your computer supports an active stylus / Pen.
Not convinced?
Yeah, but?
If the HP Pen were compatible, it could use the following Pen Control.
HP Pen Control Application
- HP Pen Control software provides several different functions, and allows users to change the functions of the two barrel buttons on the HP Pen. This package is provided for supported computer models running a supported operating system. Reminder: Pen Control is not compatible with Tilt Pen

Not working?
If you can do so, return the HP Pen to the merchant.
