I have a HP Pavilion X360 convertible laptop and I have also purchased a HP 1MR94AA#ABL pen and I can`t seem to get the two of them to work together at all and the Bluetooth is saying that it is paired.
Help me please the list of compatibility tells me they should work

I do suggest you first update both Windows Updates and (your other) HP Software and Drivers.
Hopefully, with the addition of the driver (below) this will be enough to provide pen operation.
Download-Save the driver
Open File Explorer
Navigate to the folder in which you saved the downloaded driver (likely Downloads)
Double-tap on the driver package to install
After the driver is installed, Restart the computer and log in.
HP Pen Driver – Version 2.0.0.26
- Support for Pen models: HP Pen models 1MR94AA, Y0C43AV, and 1CP24AV
