I have the HP Envy x360 laptop. When I bought it, there was a HP Power Management tool installed (don't remember the exact name) that could be opened by pressing F12. It did a good job, the laptop barely ran hot - neither during normal use nor while asleep.
My SSD crashed and I got a new one. Now I'm missing this power management tool. When I put the laptop to sleep by closing the lid now, it almost burns up. The only solution I found was to change the settings, and use hibernate instead of sleep.
Since it worked nicely before, I'd like to have this HP Power Management tool back. Anyone knows where I can get it from? I found a download in the HP forum, but that one is only for business notebooks. I don't have the required power option in my BIOS.
