I have an HP prime calculator. It works great, but it emits a concerning chemically acrid odor when charging. May I get some assistance on this?

That acrid smell during charging is a warning sign — most likely the battery degrading and off-gassing, or a faulty charger pushing too much current. First try a different quality USB charger. If you are an army officer, with acft traing and using the HP device, let me tell you, you will get aft calculator to calculate your aft score online.
