I can transfer photos from my laptop to my iPhone using HP Quick Drop. However, when trying to same the image from the HP Quick Drop iPhone App into my camera roll, it saves a distorted image. Within the feed, it shows the image distorted/resized into a square image. When opening from within the feed, the photo dimensions show up correctly in the original rectangular dimensions. However, saving or copying the file elsewhere only saves the distorted square image rather than the original image.
Is this a known bug/issue, or is there a different technique to fully save the file from the HP Quick Drop app into my iPhone?

Not sure.
This is a "more than one part" affair - mobile app plus the Windows app.
Certain restrictions.
What I found is included below...
One note: These are "apps" they can be uninstalled / installed from the appropriate Store. If nothing works, first try changing the destination / folder. No Joy? Perhaps try uninstall > Restart all devices > install fresh copy of the apps.
HP QuickDrop App requires mobile app ( iOS 12 or higher) and a companion application installed on your Windows PC.
NOT compatible with older HP Orbit software.
