Since I have upgraded to the latest version of HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT v 8.3.34.7 (Framework v 12.5.32.37; Configuration Files v 8.0.6493.1554) I have lost the ability to check for Updates.


Everytime I try to check for updates, I can only get the green checkmark on the "Connecting to HP servers" step; all the others have an error checkmark (grey cross).


I have tried to uninstall HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT and reinstall it on both my machines (HP Elitebook 8470p; HP Elitepad 1000 G2) and the error is the same.


Does anyone knows how to fix this?

This issue was fixed with today's update for HP Support Assistant v 8.3.50.9
