Hi @Alita_01, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Your laptop keyboard has a Chinese layout, but you're using English as your primary language. This can cause mismatches between key inputs and expected outputs.

Steps to Identify and Configure the Correct Keyboard Layout

1. Identify the Keyboard Layout

  • From the image, your keyboard appears to be a Chinese (Simplified) - QWERTY layout.
  • To confirm, go to:
    • Windows SettingsTime & LanguageLanguage & region.
    • Under Preferred languages, check the installed keyboard layouts.

2. Change the Keyboard Layout

Check your current layout

  • Press Win + Space to cycle through installed layouts.
  • Or go to SettingsTime & LanguageLanguage & region.
  • Click English (United States) or your preferred language.
  • Under Keyboards, ensure US Keyboard is selected.

Add the Correct Keyboard Layout (If Needed)

  • Click Add a keyboard and select United States (US).
  • Remove any Chinese layout if it's interfering.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
