HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0018TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The following power plans have disappeared from my Spectre. How do I make these plans available to me again?

- High performance

- Power saver

Now only the Balanced plan is available!

I'm running Win 10 v1903(OS Build 18362.239)

Hi:

See if the info at the link below is of help to you...

The link you provided didn't work because plan other than Balanced simply are not available to be selected!

Hi,

You must disable the so called "connected standby" mode first. To do that, have a look here

With connected standy disabled, you can access back your power plans.

If you still have balanced only (with connected standy disabled) follow the tutorial suggested above: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/110372-restore-missing-default-power-plans-windows-10-a.html

In theory, you could then re-enable connected standby mode and have all the plans showing up. But this works only if you have switched to another plan than balanced.

If you don't change plan or you switch back to balanced at another stage, all other plans will disappear again (even if you create a "clone" balanced plan) and you will have to disable connected standby again....

I don't know if there is a workaround for this.

Cheers
