Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have a HP Stream Notebook PC11. Can I get and run the most recent version of Microsoft  Word , MS office on it? 

I have not needed to use the notebook since the spring of 2015. If I can get the latest version of MS Word , on the notebook, the devise will be perfect for a project I am beginning.

You can buy MS Word from Microsoft or try the following free product (which is very similar to MS Word):

 

       https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/writer/
