HP Support Assistant - "Application enabling services are currently unavailable", constantly comes up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Support Assistant at least 50 times now. No fix seems to work. Is HPSP flawed for Windows 11? Why will no one respond to my Posts and offer a fix or admit HPSA is buggy with Windows 11?

Hello Retiredmseop,

This morning, I replied to your post on 03 Nov 2022, as I am also experiencing the same issue with the HPSA error 'Application Enabling Services Currently Unavailable' on my HP Z2 Mini G4 desktop.

I have been doing some troubleshooting this morning using my HP ZBook 14u G6 laptop as reference.  The ZBook 14u is not experiencing the same issue as the Z2 Mini.  Based on Mans' HP Support Assistant - Application enabling services are cur... - HP Support Community - 8310286 post, I also discovered that several of the HPSA services (search or run services.msc) were disabled (not running), so I enable them in the same manner as highlighted in his post.

Disregard the "HP CASL Framework Service" as I believe this used when updating directly from the HP driver download page for your specific model.

After setting each of the four (4) services to "Automatic" Startup type (Apply) and "Start" for the Service status, I was able to startup HPSA and run an Update check without any errors.  However, after rebooting, these same services are not started automatically.  I am trying trying to figure out why and if needed, create a startup task to enable these services.  I will keep you posted of my progress and the steps necessary if I am sucessful.

Please let me know if the above steps work for you.  Hope this helps so far!

Regards,

Joe
