HP Notebook - 15-bs121nr

Good evening,

I’m having an issue with HP Support Assistant. I am able to start the program but as soon as it starts I see a large white circle that suppose to spin but instead it locks up the entire laptop for approximately 2 or 3 minutes then the laptop will reboot automatically on its own then the laptop works fine unless I try to use HP Support Assistant again which the same behavior happens.

When I noticed the issue I decided to do a fresh reimage of my laptop and delete and recreated the partition table to start fresh however even after the reimage and reinstalling everything from fresh HP Support Assistant still locks up.

Any thought?

I don't see how those troubleshooting steps will resolve the issue.

My laptop ONLY ONLY locks up entirely and reboots automatically after I try to launch/use HP Support Assistant. There is absolutely nothing else wrong with my laptop.

Reinstalling Windows 10 doesn't fix the issue either because I am still having the issue before and after.
