Product: HP ENVY Laptop PC 17-cg1000 (19S97AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since the past weeks,several times HP Support Assistant is automatically removed,from my system.

Suddenly a popup screen from HP appears,with the question why I removed the program.But I didn't remove the program at all.

I have Norton 360 and Norton Anti-Track,but don't know if these programs or Windows 10 removed HP Support Assistant.

I had version 9.16.8.0.=27 may 2022.Re-install don't work because "ERROR 2".I tried several versions 2020-2022.Even in Windows 10 Safe Mode it won't install.

In Win 10 Safe Mode it says:Not Compatible with your system,look for an older version.

Now I have version 7.7.34.34. but that is too much outdated,for Intel 11th gen with M.2 ssd.I am from Belgium and used the dutch version.

Same problem, only with the German version on a ProBook 650G8

In the midst of my work, notification pops up I can choose to keep data from the Support Assistant if I install it again. No way of stopping the uninstall, reinstalling shows Error -2
