Hello,
I would like to deploy HP support assistant on our workstations within my company.
How can we deploy HP support assistant with SCCM 2012 and hide HPSA icon in the tray bar, start menu?
it will be helpful for our technicians to keep updated the machines ans check infos. But we won't like to let end users to.
Thanks in advance if you have information or how to apply it.
How HP can help us ? I think that HP did it for some compagnies.

HP Support Assistant is a proprietary product and the property of HP. You can't just go putting it on machines because you want it there.
IF you have an HP machine, you are allowed to install HP Support Assitant -- and you can get the current version from the link: HP Support Assistant | HP® Official Site
IF you are desiring to deploy it within a commercial environment for company use, you would have to contact HP Customer Support -- as we don't deal with those issues in this forum:
If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
Good Luck

Sorry I was not clear. Of course it's for HP computer. This is for an internal use, we provide to our internal end users HP computers and support.
So in order to keep always updated our machines drivers I would like to know if it's possible to install HPSA only for the technician profile or something like this. We have SCCM and maybe we can deploy the tool with a script who suppress HPSA icon or alerts

I found the following thread, and although it deals with Win7, it might also work in Win8: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/80605-applications-prevent-running-specified-programs.html
Good Luck

Is there any chance you figured out how to deploy support assistant? I'm in a similar situation and was hoping to be able to silently deploy it to all of our hp desktop and laptop users via SCCM 2012. Thanks!
