HP Notebook 15-ay157ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Halo,

My Laptop can not complete the installation of some applications and programs such as:

HP Support Assistant
Error: Code execution can not continue because Mscoree.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may correct this problem. It does not provide any error code, but only this error text.

This and other issues began to happen after Windows Update 1903. Microsoft Support helped me prepare a USB to do a Clean Installation, which, according to them, would solve all of the above problems for good. The Laptop worked perfectly until Windows Update 1903.

Since I did the Clean install and the problems remained, I've been trying to find a solution.

All help is welcome!

Thankful,

André

@Bloemendaal,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

Let's try to download and install the .Net Framework from the Microsoft website - Click here to download.

Once done, restart the computer.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to Run Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Now, Uninstall HP Support Assistant and then reinstall the latest version using this link.
