HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-f1000 (508S0AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I was relying on the HP Support Assistant to notify when new drivers are available, but after installing 22H2 it kept telling me "your system is up to date", even though a number of updates were there (I discovered them running a manual scan from the HP website).

I installed all of them and, BTW,  updating the BIOS fixed an issue with the brightness hotkeys (also appeared after 22H2).

Was this just a random issue, or is your general experience with the Support Assistant the same?

Thanks.

Support Assistant is not working/supported on HP Spectre x360 16-f1000 (508S0AV).

You did it right to install the updates manually.

Kind regards

Thank you, that is good to know. Wonderng why it gets pre-installed, then.
