Product: HP Envy laptop 17
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My HP Support Assistant has an exclamation mark in it. When I click on it, it states I need an app. But no app is available in the app store. I downloaded the HP Support Assistant software from HP. When I run it, it states I have a newer version already installed, and does nothing more. How do I get HP Support Assistant back?

I read on this thread that the HP Support Assistant is not necessary to be installed on your system due to the availability of drivers already on the HP website. You can read more about it here to help clarify things for you.
