I get this message when I try to update Support Assistant:

Checked the download update which is 8.4.14.41 Rev.A
My systems drivers page shows update 8.4.14.41 Rev.A as available also.
But my HP system just updated its Support Assistant to 8.4.19.3
Most likely the newest update just came out but HP has not updated all the links to that softpaq yet.
They should have it done so shortly.

Have you tried uninstalling the Support Assistant, restarting the PC, then install the latest version?

Yes, and I just figured it out. When I uninstalled, I had to say I was not saving my information. In other words, I COMPLETELY uninstalled then ran my reg cleaner to get rid of all the leftovers. (RevoPro).
Works great now.

My systems drivers page shows update 8.4.14.41 Rev.A as available also.
But my HP system just updated its Support Assistant to 8.4.19.3
Most likely the newest update just came out but HP has not updated all the links to that softpaq yet.
They should have it done so shortly.

FYI, HP SA home page still has the older version listed and linked as of 8/25/2017....
