Checked the download update which is 8.4.14.41 Rev.A

My systems drivers page shows update 8.4.14.41 Rev.A as available also.

 

But my HP system just updated its Support Assistant to 8.4.19.3

Most likely the newest update just came out but HP has not updated all the links to that softpaq yet.

They should have it done so shortly.

Have you tried uninstalling the Support Assistant, restarting the PC, then install the latest version?

Yes, and I just figured it out. When I uninstalled, I had to say I was not saving my information. In other words, I COMPLETELY uninstalled then ran my reg cleaner to get rid of all the leftovers. (RevoPro).

 

Works great now.

HP is not putting the correct updated Support Assistant on their website. After installing, I checked for updates and it updated not only once, but twice!
Why is that?

I would not know. What is the full model number of your X360?

 

Personally, I don't rely on the HP Support Assistant to find drivers.

I go to the support page and download what I need manually.

My systems drivers page shows update 8.4.14.41 Rev.A as available also.

 

But my HP system just updated its Support Assistant to 8.4.19.3

FYI, HP SA home page still has the older version listed and linked as of 8/25/2017....
