Hi everybody,
Does anyone can help melp me on the subject bellow? I would like to know how to erase all traces of the HP Software Assistant application that I do not want to hear
about at all. Indeed, in the space of 6 months, on two different HP Laptop, I had to face the same error with the software.
I have already uninstall by the normal process but I am sure some HP traces are left some somewere.
Tks in advance

Hello @JHDBelgium

There are several steps to do it but in my opinion, easier would be:

1. Reinstall HP Suppport Assistant

2. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller -> https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/

This app is very good and it helps to clean remove any program from your PC and uninstall and remove unwanted programs and software easily. It will check for leftovers

3. Open Revo Uninstaller, find HP Support Assistant and Support framework (if present).

Uninstall them using the app. At the end it will give you options for leftovers removal. Use the Advanced option to scan for registry leftovers and file leftovers. Make sure you delete them all by using the appropriate button.

Here is a Revo Uninstaller review -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgSJkd11voM

I am also a fan of WISE Registry cleaner (free app) -> https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-registry-cleaner.html

You may download and run it to clean leftovers from your registry (advanced scanning).

Let me know how it goes.
