Product: HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15-ed0056nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
HP Support Assistant symbol in the taskbar constantly shows a yellow triangle containing an exclamation mark and the tool-tip message says "recommended action needed." Opening the support assistant shows the message: "Windows Security - Not Secure". When I click on that, it shows that my virus protection is "Off".
I disabled the McAfee Virus Protection that came with the computer, and use WebRoot, which is fully active. How can I disable the warning, so that I only need to check when I really have an update message to pay attention to? Or, is there a way to make it look at WebRoot instead of McAfee?
Thanks for your help!
