Product: HP Pavillion
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP Support Assistant keeps saying there is an update available but after at least 12 tries I have been unable to download it. Anyone know what is the problem? I Am connected to internet and all and can get updates from Microsoft but this will not download.

  • Could you be more specific what exactly is trying to be downloaded ?  Is it a new version of BIOS, driver or HPSA itself ?
  • Can you take a picture or screenshot and post it back here ?
  • What is your Windows version ?
  • What is your HP product model and product number (p/n) >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

I had exactly the same issue over several months receiving varying advice from HP but to no avail,  in the end I just deleted Support Assistant and then downloaded it again and reinstalled from the HP site which solved the problem.
