From what I know, it seems it related to thermal driver, can anyone advise where can I download it? I cannot find it in my support page. Thank you so much

Hi @LT7879,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing an issue with your HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC after a clean install of Windows 11. It seems like there's a problem related to the Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework (DPTF) driver. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Update Drivers:

    • Visit the HP Official Support Page and enter your laptop's model number. Download and install the latest drivers, particularly focusing on the chipset and DPTF drivers.
  2. BIOS Update:

    • Make sure your BIOS is up-to-date. You can find BIOS updates on the same HP support page.
  3. Check for Windows Updates:

    • Ensure all Windows updates are installed. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
  4. Reinstall DPTF Driver:

    • If the issue persists, try reinstalling the Intel DPTF driver. You can find it in the Device Manager under System devices. Right-click the driver and select Uninstall device. Restart the laptop and Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.
  5. Recheck Software Configuration:

    • Ensure no unnecessary third-party software is interfering. Sometimes clean installs can include additional bloatware that can cause conflicts.

I'm an HP Employee.
