Hi everyone,
I purchased the HP G4 Thunderbolt docking station less than a year ago, and I've recently started encountering an issue. Occasionally, the monitor connected via HDMI goes black. Sometimes it recovers after a few seconds, but more often than not, I have to disconnect and reconnect my laptop to restore the connection.
I’ve tested the docking station on multiple PCs and MacBooks, and the issue persists. I’ve also tried using a different monitor, but the problem remains the same.
I recently updated the firmware for the docking station, and while the issue has become slightly less frequent, it’s still causing significant disruptions during my daily work.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? How did you resolve it? Should I consider applying for a repair or return?
