How to stop the driver,  HP-USB - 6/1/2018 12:00:00 AM - 46.2.2631.18152 , from installing one or two times a day for last three or four weeks when checking for security and/or app updates

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see this discussion at the link below.

 

You may have to click on 'Retry' in Windows update several times after you hide the update on W11 and restart the PC.
