Hi @apereezy
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query.
The HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub is a plug-and-play device that relies on built-in Windows 11 drivers. You do not need a separate standalone driver file. If you experience connection or port issues, get official firmware updates and management tools directly from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.

Hi @apereezy
Thank you for responding.
I understand that the hub is working correctly when connected to another laptop, but it is not being recognized or functioning properly with your Windows 11 laptop. I also understand that the previously provided link directs you to a PDF fact sheet rather than the driver download page.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp153001-153500/sp153477.zip This is the link for latest version.
I hope this works.
Have a good day.

Hi @apereezy
Thank you for responding.
Since the hub works fine on your other laptop, it's worth checking a few things on the Windows 11 machine specifically before assuming it's purely a driver issue:
- Try a different USB-C port on that laptop, if it has more than one
- Check Device Manager for any yellow warning icons under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" or "Other devices"
- Update chipset/USB-C controller drivers via Windows Update (Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Optional updates) — this has fixed it for some people even without a new HP-specific driver https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.
Have a good day.
