Hi,
I have about eight HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hubs which aren't working properly since upgrading our laptops to Win11 22H2. We have 2 devices plugged into the hubs which are a webcam and speaker, but whenever we plug the usb-c cable from the hub into our laptops the devices are not recognised. To fix this we have to go into Device Manager and find 2 devices with errors as they don't have Descriptor details, right click and update the drivers on these devices and select an automatic driver from the local machine. This then fixes the issue and the devices are recognised again. But this fix isn't permanent as once you unplug the usb-c cable and replug, the error occurs again.
I've tested a Win10 laptop and a Win11 laptop before the 22H2 update and they work fine and recognise the 2 devices on the hub without any issues. It's just since the 22H2 update we've started to encounter these issues. I've also plugged the 2 devices directly into the Win11 22H2 laptop and it works fine, so it seems to be a issue with the Hub on Win11 22H2.
Do you have a new Driver for this Hub or a permanent solution for this issue?
Thanks
Arvin
