I have a Victus purchased last year, with the exact same issue. The issue is not "just update things," I know that's something you have to suggest initially but there's so many threads here and elsewhere with Victus and other HP gaming laptop owners having major latency issues. Actual solutions are needed. I bought mine as a professional mobile DJ - i figured a nice new gaming laptop would be ideal for the job. Now I have to make sure I never switch out of my DJ software when I'm playing, or the latency causes massive audio slowdown/crunch. There's something across the board in HP gaming laptops causing this issue and HP needs to take it seriously. Thanks
