HP Victus 16-D1094TX

Greetings!

I would like to ask if there is any way for my HP Victus 16-D1094TX to limit the battery to 50 or 80%. Is there an Adaptive Battery Optimizer or Battery Health Manager or Adaptive Battery Manager or Battery Care Function on my device? If not, is there any other way I can try to limit the battery from overcharging?

Kindly note that this is a new device (2022 model). Hence, I would be very happy and exhilarated to return this if I read that you do not have such simple BIOS settings.

Thank you very much 🙂

Generally speaking, all mentioned software are for Business class machines, for example

your machine is NOT a business class machine therefore you have no choice

Disappointing. Is there any other option/setting I can play around with?

-There is a setting in the BIOS that limits charging to around 75-80%. It is called, if I recall correctly, 'adaptive battery charging' and is on by default. Even if that setting is on Windows will show 100% charge when the battery is charged to the safety limit. If you choose to disable that setting in the BIOS, you could increase the battery discharge time by 20-25% whilst potentially damaging the longevity of the cell.
