I've had my laptop for probably a year and a half now.  However,  I keep getting the HP Welcome App pop up often.  Like more than 3 times daily (on days that I use the laptop often).  I just put up with it or ignored it but I'm finally tired of it.  It's hard to exit out of because sometimes the close button doesn't respond and doesn't do anything or the screen does the "the laptop needs to think so we're gonna not let you click anything while we tell you that the app stopped working".  So sometimes I need to close it multiple times before it actually closes.  I can always minimize it though.  I searched up the answer online, probably on this forum, a few weeks ago and it told me I could uninstall the app and it would stop doing it.  But every time I try to uninstall it, after I confirm that I want to uninstall it, nothing happens, no pop ups, no loading screens, nothing.  It's just like I never hit anything to unistall in the first place.   I need help on how to fix this issue, I have all the proper updates and everything as far as I know and I don't know my options.  Thanks for the help!

Try digging it out of the Windows Start menu

Windows key > open Apps list > scroll down to "H" >

Right-Click on HP Welcome > Uninstall
