So, I have an HP Elitebook 8470p. I did not buy it myself, that would be a bussiness my uncle used to work at some years ago.

I've installed Ubuntu Server for personal use, but the BIOS doesn't recognize the OS. I highly suspect it is because Legacy Support is disabled. Legacy Support is enabled through the BIOS and it is locked behind a password, which neither me or my uncle are aware of.

I've been trying to contact HP support directly but the website insist that I provide my SN, problem is, my SN isn't recognized by their systems.

Should a representative read this, I'd be keen to get some help to get the database to recongnize my system's SN.

Thanks, Bruno Padilla
