HP Workwise is a very promissing application, allowing you to walk away from your laptop without locking it.

I realy love the idea, it is using existing technologies for new features.

However, the sound is horrible. Every time I walk away from my laptop, it locks automaticaly and this "want to be chims"-sound plays through the office.

Is there now way to switch off that sound, or change it?

To the person that selected the sound: Please have it playing one day about every 10 minutes, and you will understand why it is horrible. If everybody would have this installed, it would be nerve-breaking.

Now for the positive part: THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. Really, auto locking and unlocking my PC depending on my proximity, it will save myself so much time entering my password!

Many thanks!

HP WorkWise is totally missing from Apple Appstore!

It was removed from the Apple App Store as it's apprently no longer available for iPhone as of last month. No idea why. But now I would like to get the daily pop-up reminder on my computer to stop - how do I do that?!

Hi,

As a solution you can just mute the volume specifically per application from the 'Volume mixer' (in windows). In the volume mixer HP Workwize is one of the channels and you can disable it there.

Would be more logic if you could do it in the app though....
